We offer service of high quality with a personal touch and attention to detail.

Breakfast is served between 7.30am – 9.00am on weekdays (8.00am – 9.30am weekends and bank holidays) and there is a wide choice to appeal to all tastes.

Access to the off road car park is through a gated archway at the side of the main building. The car park has a space for each of the 14 bedrooms.

The facilities of the Chantry Hotel are private to residents and their guests.

The Chantry hotel is only open to residents and their guests. The lounge and bar is situated on the ground floor and they can relax and enjoy a selection of drinks, books and parlour games. The restaurant (and breakfast room) is also on the ground floor. Evening meals are served Monday to Friday. We serve food at the weekend by arrangement. Pre-theatre suppers are also available; please call Sarah or Mike to arrange them. Sarah, our chef, has worked as head chef in some of the best known hotels in East Anglia and the West Country. She prepares the food to a very high standard using seasonal local produce.

The Chantry is an ideal place to unwind on a short (or long!) break. Bury St Edmunds is the restaurant capital of Suffolk and within five minutes walk there is a large and varied selection of eating places, pubs and bars.
